iRest

iRest is a modern adaptation of the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra developed by psychologist, yogic scholar and researcher, Dr. Richard Miller. Yoga nidra is a process of meditative self-inquiry. Practices guide you be with and explore your internal experiences- thoughts, feelings and body sensations. iRest is a research-supported complementary treatment for a number of conditions and also increases resiliency, health and well-being. Dr. Kutz is a level 1 iRest teacher and incorporates practices into therapy.  Below are some examples of why a client may wish to integrate iRest into their care.
