Meet Dr. Andrea Salcedo

Therapy isn’t just about understanding your story; it’s about reclaiming it. Together, we’ll work toward healing, clarity, and meaningful change. I offer trauma-informed, identity-affirming therapy rooted in authenticity, compassion, and growth. My approach blends emotional and relational exploration with practical support. Whether you want to build coping strategies, align your life with your values, shift unhelpful patterns, or process past experiences, I’ll tailor our work to your needs, goals, and pace.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I pay close attention to how the different parts of your identity: race, culture, spirituality, gender, sexuality, ability, neurodiversity, and lived experiences, shape your story. I value authenticity, transparency, humor, and unconditional positive regard in our work together. I’m bilingual (English & Spanish) and bicultural, with experience supporting adults and older teens across university counseling centers, community clinics, hospitals, and partial hospitalization programs.

I especially enjoy working with individuals who are curious about their relationships with themselves and others, and want to deepen their emotional awareness. I help clients move toward greater self-understanding, empowerment, and post-traumatic growth. If you’re ready to explore what healing and growth could look like for you, I’d be glad to connect. Reach out to schedule a consultation, and we can see if working together feels like the right fit.
